Overview

Set in the middle of the Chuckwalla Valley in the desert oasis and golfing community of Lake Tamarisk, Casa Verde is an hour's drive east of Palm Springs California. We are definitely off the beaten track, a little north of Interstate 10 near Desert Center.

If you need close proximity to malls, restaurants, and fast food, you will probably be happier in the Palm Springs area. However, if desert solitude, clean air and clear skies, with mountain views to all sides appeals to you, you'll definitely enjoy staying here. There is also pretty fair golf almost at our doorstep and gorgeous sunsets almost every day.

This three bedroom desert hideaway is ideal for two couples with two separate master bedroom suites and shared kitchen, dining room, living room, air conditioning, and 2-car garage. A golf cart and satellite TV are available for our guest's use.

The Lake Tamarisk community is designed around two spring-fed lakes. There is a firestation and library within a block.

The nine-hole golf course at Lake Tamarisk is operated by Riverside County and is open to the public. Usage fees are as follows:

The Casa Verde rental rates are as follows:

A 50% deposit is required to hold your reservation. The balance is due on arrival.

We are located about one mile north of the "town" of Desert Center, California. Desert Center is located on Interstate 10, about 80 miles east of Palm Springs or 40 miles west of Blythe, California.

To reach Lake Tamarisk, exit the interstate, proceed past the gas station and turn left onto Kaiser Road. Go 1.5 miles, turn right at Lake Tamarisk Drive.
